Apache Longbow

About a week ago I celebrated my birthday, and my girlfriend gave me a AH-64 Longbow 1:48 plastic model kit. Now, I know I already spend a lot of time on the computer with these silly airplanes, but apparently she won't mind me spending even more time now on building that kit!

Oh... she now tells me it was meant as a diversion for me away from the computer...

Well anyway, I'm afraid that her little plan backfired a bit, because this next release is a result of that present. Indeed ,to show Joanna (her name) my appreciation for her constant support no matter what (and no matter how long I sit behind the laptop), I made her a nice little paint of CEP's Apache Longbow.



I got the model initially from Skipper's 22nd pack, but I heard it was originally from CEP, so there ya go. I made a green and desert paint too, but I found CEP's already got a beautiful drab green one, and I figured the only version worth releasing was in fact Joanna's 'Love Machine'.

Anyway, it kinda makes sense. I mean, think about it, what airplane would Cupid choose if he'd be here in this age? Well, he'd throw away that little bow of his and get himself a proper weapon... The Longbow as we know it.

So, there ya go.
Enjoy the AH-64 Apache Longbow "Joanna", because 'Love Conquers All'... as long as it's armed to the teeth!
