B-24 Liberator and P-47 Thunderbolt

I haven't released anything for a while now, but that's because there will be a monster release soon.
I've been making a whole bunch of repaints for my battle with Iceman, but I got a bit sidetracked and found this B-24 mesh I had lying around.

So I made it into a YS release hopefully to go with Masa-AT's B-17. The B-17 is a bit heavy on the polygons, and so I trimmed as many poly's off the B-24 as I could, and I used some parts from the 17, such as the topturret, the belly turret, and the MG's, pilots, and gunners, which I redid in gepolyx.

I have retained the B-17's flight characteristics in the DAT file, because I couldn't really replicate the difficult flying characteristics of the B-24. It's a heavy bomber, so it moves slowly, needs quite a bit of take off distance, and has tons of turrets (which should all work properly now! God, it was incredibly hard to get all of them to move and shoot in a generally correct direction!).

I put some noseart on, choosing Lucy Floozy and Lucky '42 as good names.
The pin up on Lucy Floozy is modelled after the 'Strawberry Bitch' B-24 in the USAF museum.

It's fairly detailed, and I used the cockpit from the B-17 with all the dials.

As a surprise add-on I have also put two repaints of BNI-pack's P-47N Thunderbolt in this ZIP file. I've always been surprised that this beautiful machine has only been made once, and there was room for improvement, so here it is!
I took the P-47N and I trimmed off as many spare polygons as I possibly could, straightened out some random polys, and made a razorback canopy for a P-47B.
I kept the bubble canopy for a P-47D, and both of them will make fine escort fighters for the Liberators.

Press 'bomb door' button and the droptank and pylons will dissappear for picture purposes. If you want to hang some bombs underneath though, keep em there.

The DAT is unchanged, and it flies wonderfully!
Hope you enjoy both planes!

You forgot to mention the little "prize" you get on the Lucy Floozy B-24...
